We had a fabulous stay! The hot springs were a perfect way to unwind after a long day of hiking. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and our teenage kids loved the breakfast options. The staff was super friendly and made us feel at home.
In my wife’s opinion, more family-oriented activities would be great.

Family getaway with breathtaking views
The hot springs were relaxing, and the staff was pleasant to deal with, making the experience somewhat enjoyable. The location was perfect, right by beautiful trails for hiking, which we appreciated as a family.
It wasn’t cheap, but you get what you pay for I guess.

I recently stayed at Box Canyon Lodge for a couple of nights. The hot tubs filled with natural hot spring water were a fantastic spot to unwind after hiking the stunning trails in Ouray. The views from my room were breathtaking, with mountains every way I turned. The staff greeted me warmly and helped me with recommendations on where to eat in town. The room had a comfortable bed and came equipped with a fridge and microwave, making it convenient. However, I found the floors quite dirty, and the rooms seem like they could use an upgrade. Noise from the walkway made it hard to enjoy peace at times. Also, the hot tubs were crowded during my visit. It might not be the best choice if you're looking for a serene hot springs experience. Still, the location and friendly service made my trip enjoyable.

We had an amazing time soaking in the natural hot tubs and the cozy, spacious room was perfect for our family. The relaxation opportunities here are fantastic, especially the outdoor hot springs and sun terrace to unwind after a day of exploring. The only downside was that the room felt a bit dark with the window layout, but it didn’t really bother us. 🌟

Hot springs bliss!
We had a decent stay overall! The hot tubs were amazing, offering stunning views. Found a strange smell in our big room at first, but after airing it out, it was fine. Breakfast was a typical continental setup, and don't forget to bring extra bowls if you have a large group. Watch out for slippery ice outside!
